The Vivant ProPeel® is a medium depth, four-step peel system formulated with a potent blend of lactic acid, salicylic acid, citric acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA), phenol, and retinyl propionate. This advanced combination works synergistically to accelerate cellular turnover, reduce breakouts, fade discoloration, and support collagen activity for smoother, clearer, more even-toned skin. Clients typically experience light to moderate peeling for 5–7 days, with visible improvement continuing as the skin renews.

Ideal for: acne and congestion, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, uneven tone or texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, and clients seeking corrective, results-driven skin renewal.

Pre-conditioning required: Skin should be pre-conditioned with Vivant skincare for 4–6 weeks prior to treatment.

*Peel strength and candidacy must be approved by your esthetician to ensure safety and optimal results.

  • Vivant ProPeel is designed for clients seeking more corrective skin renewal and may be appropriate for concerns including acne and congestion, post-breakout discoloration, uneven tone and texture, enlarged pores, and fine lines. Because this is a more advanced peel, candidacy and peel strength are determined by your esthetician based on your skin, treatment history, and level of pre-conditioning.

  • Vivant ProPeel requires the skin to be properly prepared before treatment. Clients must use a recommended Vivant home-care routine for approximately 4–6 weeks prior to the peel to help prepare the skin for a stronger corrective treatment and support a more predictable response. Your esthetician will guide you on the appropriate pre-conditioning routine for your skin.

  • Most clients experience light to moderate visible peeling for approximately 5–7 days as the skin renews. The amount of peeling can vary depending on your skin, peel strength, and individual response. Because this is not a no-downtime treatment, your esthetician will review what to expect and provide appropriate post-treatment guidance.

  • ProPeel may be used to address active congestion and breakouts while also improving the appearance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, and texture. For clients with acne, the peel may be incorporated into a broader plan that includes professional treatments and appropriate home care rather than being viewed as a one-time solution.

  • Vivant ProPeel is a dedicated, medium-depth corrective peel that requires several weeks of pre-conditioning and involves visible peeling afterward. The lighter, no-downtime peels used within MDR’s customized facials are selected as part of a broader facial treatment and are designed to provide exfoliation without the same level of preparation or recovery. Your esthetician can help determine which approach is more appropriate for your skin and goals.

  • There is no one-size-fits-all treatment schedule. The number and frequency of ProPeel treatments depend on your skin, concerns, response to treatment, and overall skincare plan. Your esthetician will recommend the appropriate approach after evaluating your skin and treatment goals.

  • Because visible peeling typically occurs for several days after treatment, ProPeel is not intended as a last-minute glow treatment. If you have an upcoming event, trip, or other important date, let your esthetician know so your treatment can be scheduled appropriately.

  • Yes. Vivant ProPeel is an advanced peel, and both candidacy and treatment strength must be approved by your esthetician. MDR evaluates your skin, treatment history, and pre-conditioning before proceeding to help determine whether ProPeel is appropriate for you.
